In Navision 2018, how can I hide some items from being chosen to sell?

Hi,

May I ask in sales order, my sales person is able to choose from a list of items to sell as shown below, However, I would like to hide some of the items. May I ask is there a way to limit this list of items.

So that it will show only a few of the items I want to sell? How do I hide them, do I hide them via User Personalisation?

Josh,

Sadly this is not possible today. However, I have done this before for customers and had to create a customization that created a Table called "Restricted Items" with fields:

1. Customer No.

2. Item No.

3. Status (Boolean) (Checking means Allow sell)

I also made this table available on the Item Card to populate. You setup this table and add code in the Sales Line entry process that validates against this table if an Item can be Sold to a Customer.

Ask your Partner to create the customization.
