how to keep HQ Server Always Running

Hi All,

Another question for the gurus here. Our system used to be set up, so that HQ server was always running. Our system was compromised and after our outside IT consultant came in and hardened the security and removed the malware HQ Server no longer stays running. Any help on how to configure HQ Server to be always on would be appreciated.

    try application monitor we use it to keep HQ client running on our POS systems, in combination with TrayIt! its barely noticeable

    Jason,

    If you are looking for automatic start-up, set up a scheduled task in Control Panel to run HQ Server on Windows start-up.

    If you are having problems keeping HQ Server running, I would try running a repair in Add/Remove Programs.

    Jeff,

    When you start HQ Server using the scheduler, how can you later on sign on and see the task/ messages or interact with it?

    Hi JTETALAFF,

    Place your HQ Server Icon in the Startup Folder.  If you let me know which O/S you are using I will write down the steps to accomplish this.
