When we process an AP check run that contains 100+ checks, it can take 5 minutes for 100 checks or 20 minutes for 400 checks, before they start printing on the printer. We tried printing to a local file and got the same result. This is happening on an SL 2011 system that was recently upgraded from SL 6.5. At first we thought it migh be a network spooling issue, but printing to a file, gives the same result. This was not an issue in SL 6.5. Has anybody seen this or know of a cause?
Thanks, Bob Remick

Thanks Carolyn, we will give this a try.
Hi Bob,
I believe this sounds like bug 23521 which is described as: During check processing, there is a delay between check records that prevents printing until all records have been processed.
The work around for this is:
In the Solomon.ini file, create a section that looks like the following:
[Database Runtime]
AsyncDelay=0
This entry into the Solomon.ini should improve the situation. Let me know how it goes.
