Hi,
you probably just need to give that user correct permissions:

Either create a new role and assign it to that user or find an existing role that has correct permissions (for the opportunity entity), and, again, assign it to the user
Stay up to date on forum activity by subscribing. You can also customize your in-app and email Notification settings across all subscriptions.
