Error while executing a SSRS report in ax 2012

ReportReport

Dear All,

I am facing the below issue while execution of SSRS report in ax 2012. I am able to run the report successfully in VS but not in AX 2012.

Fatal exception performing AXRDCE transformation step. The report cannot be rendered. Please contact your system administrator.

I edited the error to see from where the error is being thrown. It took me to the below path:

\Forms\SrsReportViewer\Methods\AxReportViewer_RefreshComplete,34

When I am trying to run the report from Report manager URL, I am getting the same error. I am able to execute the Out of box reports.

I tried out all the ways specified in the following link:

https://axatoz.wordpress.com/2014/04/30/an-error-occurred-invoking-the-report-definition-customization-extension-rdce/

Nothing worked!!! Also, I have no error related to my objects.

The following is the message from event viewer:

An error occurred invoking the Report Definition Customization Extension (RDCE). (rsRdceInvalidCacheOptionError)

Please help me to sort out this problem.

Thanks in advance!!

What do you see in the report server log files related to running your reports? What do you have in the execution log views for the ReportServer DB?

Thanks for your reply Vilmos!! The status for the execution is "rsRdceInvalidCacheOptionError".

I meant these sources of information:

    Most likely a cache issue.

You can try deleting the report from the DynamicsAX folder (from report managerURL), and redeploy the report from AX.
