Assigning role for contact information

Hi all,
 
Can someone please explain how role/purpose is assigned to a /Contact/ created in /Contact information/ tab of a customer.
 
In the Customer form, under /Contact information/ the form displayed is /LogisticsElectronicInfoGrid/ and on clicking advanced button /LogisticsElectronicInfo/ form opens where we update the Purpose(role).
In /LogisiticsElectronicInfo/ form there is no /LgisticsElectronicRoles/ data source where the Purpose(role) is stored.
 
I am unable to figure out how this process works as I need to replicate this feature in /LogisiticsElectronicInfoGrid/ form too, as the requirement given is to update the role directly when /Add/ button is clicked.

    Hi Anand Krishna,
     
    Under Customer >> Contact information >. Form name is LogisticsContactInforGrid >> If you click on Advanced button - Opened form will be LogisticsContactInfo.
    Refer to the written method of LogisticsElectronicAddress DataSource on form LogisticsContactInfo. Purpose field is a multiselect lookup field.
    So, in the written method they are using one class 'LogisticsEntityContactInfoFormHandler' - Object name 'contactInfoForm' - Using this class they are calling the contactInfoForm.setRoles (Argument will be values given in the Purpose field using rolesCtrl.get() which will return container) and write method. 
    Inside the write method they are calling the AOT map 'LogisticsEntityLocationRoleMap::createEntityLocationRoles' - Inside this method they are inserting the record into the map - On the 'LogisticsEntityLocationRoleMap' >> Under mapping node you can see that LogisticsElectronicAddressRole table -So the record will be created in that table if the record is inserted in the map I guess.
    I think this is the process.
