Connection Roles List View

Posted on by 4
The issue:
  • When I select a Connection Role without selecting a Contact in Connected From, the default list of Connection Roles is sorted the same way as the All Active Connection Roles list view.
    • (A-Z based on the Connection Role name)
    • (My screenshot shows Relationship, as I renamed it, but the out-of-the-box field name was Role (To))
  • However, when I select a Contact in Connected From, then select a Connection Role, the list view defaults to Applicable Connection Roles (default).
    • (A-Z based on the Connection Role Category name)
Question:
  • How do I get the Connection Roles to sort the same way as the All Active Connection Roles list view?
    • (A-Z based on the Connection Role name)
Screenshots:
  • When no Contact is selected -

  • The list view is filtered this way -

  • When there is Contact selected -

  • The list view is sorted in a different way -

    Hi partner,
Unfortunately, we can't achieve it currently.
In fact, we even can't find the 'Applicable Connection Roles(default)' view, so we can't customize it.
When we check the lookup properties of the connection role, we can notice that some views have been listed in the section, but the default view is not.
Note: The default view selected here only works until you tap on 'Advanced lookup'.

@Leah Ju, is there a way I can make that list view appear by default? Without having to manually change it every time?

    Hi Partner,
1.How do I get the Connection Roles to sort the same way as the All Active Connection Roles list view? (A-Z based on the Connection Role name)
(1)Sort it directly in the view:
--Clicking the 'Name' column, then you can select A-Z to sort it.
      (2) Change to All Active Connection Roles list view:

I hope you can verify my answer if it helps you! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,
    Leah
