Our master planning job keeps failing. Is anyone familiar with the error below and how to fix it? Is it a code issue or parameter issue?

The master planning process was canceled. Item coverage is not fully updated.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi MStauffer,

Are you able to provide more context? Did it work before without issues? What exact version are you using? What settings do you have for master planning and coverage groups? How many items are in your environment? Are you using the new planning service or the legacy master planning batch job? Do you get the error directly or after a while when the MRP run is executing?

    Hi,
Can you provide more information (e.g. business scenarios, etc.) to help us better solve the problem? At the moment the information you provide is not enough to support us in proposing a solution.
    Best regards,
    Kevin

You'll probably not get helpful responses here unless you post exact details.  You'll want to review planning run results, like the Unfinished planning processes screen -> Inquiries -> View progress.  This can help determine what level of your BOM's you need to start investigating for issues.   Note you need to enable "track processing time" slider to yes on the master planning run for this to show data.  You can read more here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/master-planning/tasks/monitor-master-planning-run

You might want to raise a ticket with your partner, they would likely have someone with experience to investigate.
