Adding iCal to marketing emails

Dear all,

A customer would like to set up a customer journey, which is an event invite and have a marketing mail that is sent out to the defined segment which includes the iCAL as an attachment, giving the invited audience the possibility to automatically save the appointment in their calendars. Any idea on how to do this?

Thanks.

Jana

    Hi @janalukic,

It's not ideal, as it's a workaround rather than a solution, but what I can think of is store the calendar invite somewhere else / externally and add a link to it (download button) in your email.

Sorry for not having a better suggestion.

Let us know if you come up with anything else.

    Thanks,

    -DD

Thanks for the suggestion Dilyana :) This was my back-up plan but I was hoping for a more elegant solution. I will keep you updated should I come up with something else
