Hi,

Please, what it is the best technical approach to disable Adding or editing notes and attachments on DISABLED (READONLY) records (contacts) ?

I already studied the approach with plugin and it seems not to be user friendly, since we should throw an OOB popup exception from plugin to stop creation or edit of notes.

Also, we cannot do it properly with javascript, coz even we can disable the "Add Note" button in the contact form, we cannot disable the "Save & New" button in the Note Form (it is not customizable). We can reach the "New Note Form" from the advanced find.

Hello Christian,

I'm afraid that Real-Time workflow or Sync Plugins are you best friends in this scenario. I agree that solution is not that user friendly and elegant but I'm afraid that's all that you can do now.
