Hi,

I have a problem with receiving submission data on my contact form

In the 'Marketing websites' section in D365 Marketing I added my company's website

I added the Javascript and Form capture code to the <head>

Then, when I go to 'Marketing forms'  and choose 'Capture form' I added the website contact page, where the form (WP Forms) can be found.
When checking the script, it says 'the tracking script is valid, choose next to continue'. I choose the form I made with WP Forms and map the fields:

I don't think the other fields like wpforms [id] should me mapped, but maybe I am wrong.

When all the necessary fields are mapped I press save and close.

Then I go to summary, change the name of my form and set store form submission on Yes.

I save the form and press go live.

When it's published I go to my contact page and fill in the form.

When I check the form I just made, I should see the submission, unfortunately it says there is no data available:

What did I do wrong? For one of our main websites I did exactly the same thing (using GravityForms) and when I submit a form on the contact page of that website, it show's my submission in the Marketing form

Please help me out with this question!

Best regards,

Simon

    Couple things you can try.

    1) Do you have a live customer journey for the form submissions?

    2) I have only been able to get Dynamics 365 Forms to collect data when I embed the HTML for the site created in Dynamics 365 within the 3rd party site. docs.microsoft.com/.../embed-forms

    Hi,

The documentation which is provided by Kaitlin Titus is a correct reference.

And in addition, please make sure to copy the Form capturing script correctly and don't embed any code inside the form-loader.js script.

Hi Kaitlin, thanks for your reply! I am sorry for the late reaction.

I don't have a live customer journey for the submission form, but that is not necessary I think?

So there are 2 options to embed a form on an external page.

    1: Create an embedded form

2: Capture a new external form

I really like to use option 2, but having some problems with it as I mentioned above. All the data is coming in, except the submission data. I want to know how to fix this problem and not use option 1.

    Best regards,

    Simon
