Hi,

What is the process for selling a stock item that was purchased and received into company A, but needs to be sold from company B?

Thanks

Luke

    Hi Luke Shuttlewood,

For this you need to setup inter company trade between company A and company B in AX. Once the setup is done you can create a sales order in company B and inter company orders will be created automatically for company A.

It also depends if you the goods from company A will be dispatched directly to customer or they will be first purchased in company B stock and sold to customer form here.

In case goods will be directly delivered you can use direct delivery functionality along with inter company setup.
