Viewing form extensions

I'm a beginner and I've been given a small assignment at my work and I needed some help.
Is there any way to view form extensions in the UI? With a custom form I would add it to a display menu item and then to a menu and view that in F&O but I cant do the same for an extension. The whole task said extend the Invent Table form, add a custom field 'Review Rating' display the max value in the form extension and show it as a star rating. I was given a suggestion to try using images for the corresponding rating value from 1-5. But I keep getting stuck with the viewing.
I can set it as a startup object and open it but it will just show me a page with the fields listed and I cant do anything with the added rating field let alone add an image.
If anyone had any suggestions on how to go about this task I'd appreciate it.

Hi,

Form extensions means that you are modifying the existing standard form and in your case, you are adding a field to it. So just open the standard form from the UI and you should see your new field in the form.

The original form that you made an extension for has a display menu item and this menu item is put somewhere, so find the path of the form to see your new field in the UI.
