How to Modify Inactive Merged Records in CRM

Posted on by 10

Hello,

We have an integration set up with vendor software that uses website as primary key. The issue is that sometimes inactive records are being identified as the primary record rather than the active record after they are merged. We wanted to null out the website fields for the inactive records without deleting them so that the integration will sync to the active record instead. Ideally we would have the vendor only sync on active records, but they wouldn't be able to work that into their roadmap for a few months.

Thanks!
