Bill a Resource on a Sales Quote?

We are attempting to build Sales Quotes for Customers or Contacts but it does not allow us to select a Resource or a Service. The only option we have is for Inventory Items and there is no way to change this field.

How can we go about Quoting or Invoicing a Resource?

    Hi Ryan,

There is another possibility that I can see. You could use Jobs. The Resources can be added to the Job Lines. When the Job is invoiced, the Resource number will be included in the Invoice Lines that are created.

    Hello Ryan,

In Dynamics 365 for Financials, for Sales transactions the only option is Items. What you can do is create an Item that is a Service Type Item and use that Service Item on your Sales Transactions to accomplish a similar outcome.
