I successfully setup a credit card surcharge for those customers wishing to us a credit card.

But, I do not want to charge a tax on this surcharge fee.  How can this be done?

    RE: Tax calculation

    Hi Dennisg,

the credit card surcharge is only taxable if the purchase is taxable. Surcharges on nontaxable purchases don’t get taxed. Maybe you can try to set rules to not apply sales tax to surcharge when applicable.

For more details ,please browse the following article:

Sales Tax on Credit Card Surcharges and Processing Fees (forst.tax)

    Best Regards,

    Hana
