No requisitioning and Project accounting link

Hi,

I have a client that has created Requisitions in BP Requisitioning and has passed to GP to create a PO. But when trying to select Project No and Cost Category, they are unable to enter the details in PO screen for PA related items because
Project Number and Cost Category fields are disabled once the PO is saved which is created from Requisition Management.

Can anybody help me to sort out this problem? Are there any third party tools or customisations that can be used to fix this problem?

Tricia

There are at least three third-party requisition products that do work with PA.

    Paramount Technologies' eWorkPlace

    Tectura's ReQlogic

    Ariett's ReqNet

It would be nice if MS would add this functionality.

I wish MS would add this functionality too.

Actually we did offer the client Tectura's ReQlogic as a requisitioning option but they decided to go with BP requisitioning instead and then we encountered this problem.

So i am trying to see if there is any third party tool that may have created the link between BP requisitioning and Project accounting or maybe a way to put in the project number after the PO has been created.

    The short answer is "no."

The Requisition Management application is hard-coded and cannot be modified.

Take a look at Mikrofax eProcurement Solutions's web based Requisitioning and Approvals tools at www.mikrofax.com - we used them as front data entry to Microsoft, SAP and Oracle - its very flexible and can be tailored to just about anything.
