Getting this error while adding a user in the notifications in the workflow element.

Workflow element->steps->approval->Notifications->user-> selected users

Users: Input string is too long. Maximum size is 80.

    Hi Abubaker,

    Can you share a screen shot of the error? Are you trying to add one user or more? Is this on a standard workflow or a new customized?

    It is a customized workflow.

    Hi Abubaker,

    The list with users for the notification is long. Note that on approval, all these users will get a mail even if the workflow was not related to them.

    So the selection of these users causes the overflow of 80 characters.

    You can use a role based recipient to select a role where all users are included to bypass this string limitation.

    You can also use a Workflow user to notify the submitter only.
