App for outlook, Create a record for a custom enitity when you have an unknown email

Hi Team!

Is it possible to customize the Dynamics 365 app for outlook so you can create a custom record from an unknown Email like Account and Contact

Like on this picture when i press the + sign for creating record, i can only choose Contact or account. I want to create a record for my custom entity?

Is this possible?

And my second question is.

Can I change the regarding search field to just look for case and not looking for account and contact aswell?

Hi partner,

1. "I want to create a record for my custom entity? Is this possible?"

Unfortunately, it is impossible.

The options in this + sign cannot be customized, we cannot add custom entity as new option in it.

We can add custom entities to this + sign and open the quick create form to fill in the information manually.

Yes, we can.

Deselect account and contact in the list of entities.

Hi Tomas, You can certainly add a custom entity to the quick create menu and add or restrict the entities used in the regarding field, please see below articles.
