Hi, I have enabled SharePoint server-based integration Dynamics 365 v9 on-premise and SharePoint online but the option for OneNote integration is still not present in Document Management.

What are the reasons for this?

Thanks

Yes I configured the Sharepoint server-based integration according to this doc

    docs.microsoft.com/.../on-prem-server-based-sharepoint-online

And the SharePoint part is functioning I can create document locations in SharePoint from Dynamics access the SharePoint documents.

But the OneNote integration is not there to be clicked and configured. :(

    Hi Sunilmg

Yes, I have seen that article but I don't have the Step2 option to integrate OneNote after Step1 integrating SharePoint.

    Hi,

Are you connecting with SharePoint on-premise?

Here is an extract from integration docs:

You can configure OneNote in Customer Engagement apps when you're also using SharePoint Online. You must have a subscription to Office 365 to use OneNote in Customer Engagement apps.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/admin/set-up-onenote-integration-in-dynamics-365

    Best,

    Wahaj

    Hi Wahaj,

I have Dynamics 365 v9 on-premise with the latest update .18 and I am connecting to SharePoint online.

I configured the Dynamics SharePoint integration with a hybrid connector and the certificates and I have office 365 basic license with SharePoint, OneNote, exchange.

    The SharePoint integration works.

Is there a specific license that I have to have for OneNote to be used in Customer Engagement?

In Microsoft Doc i have read when the SharePoint integration is set the Onenote integration option will appear in the Document Management section on Dynamics.

Because I don't have the option to integrate OneNote in Dynamics.

    Update:

I opened a case to Microsoft about this and they replayed.

"The on-premise CRM and OneNote integration is not possible"

The documentation that they have for the Dynamics CRM on-premise and OneNote integration online is not correct and they are going to change the documentation.

So, don’t try setting Exchange integration for the purpose of using OneNote.

It is not possible on premise, only online.
