Product Properties not visible on a Quote Product Subgrid

Hello everyone,

I am trying to present product properties on a quotation main form inside of Quote Product subgride, but there is no product properties visible when you click on a small arrow on a product and there is nothing to see (as attached).
I tried to look at Subgrid in a Maker Portal and even tried to change Parent and Child IDs, but nothing happened.
I have looked at the relationships and all the related relationships seems to be ok.
Basically, as I understand the situation, there are 4 levels and entities :
Global level - Products
Quote Level - Quote line (or somewhere is named also Quote Products)
Quote Product level 1 - Product properties
Quote Products sub-level - Product properties values

I have added Product properties and their values inside of Product Families/Products and they are visible, when I am editing a product from the subgrid directly.
But this is not convenient for my customer and I want him to see product properties on a small arrow click- and there is nothing to see....

What am I doing wrong? Any advise, please.

The behavior you’re seeing is expected because Product Properties are not directly exposed on the Quote Product subgrid by default. The subgrid only shows the Quote Line (Quote Product) entity, and the Product Properties are stored in a related entity (Quote Product sub-level) that isn’t surfaced in the quick view.

Why nothing appears

The small arrow click opens the Quote Product record form, which doesn’t include the Product Properties subgrid unless you customize it.
Out-of-the-box, Product Properties are only visible when editing the Product itself or in Product Families/Products

Solution

To make Product Properties visible when clicking the arrow:

Customize the Quote Product form:
- Go to the Quote Product entity form in the Maker Portal.
- Add a subgrid or quick view form for the related Product Properties entity.
- Ensure the relationship between Quote Product and Product Properties is correctly configured.
Alternative approach:
- Use a custom control or PCF component to display Product Properties inline on the Quote Product subgrid if you need a compact view.
