Certificate of Analysis - manufacture date vs expiration date

On the certificate of analysis we send to customers, we've been using expiration date which is a standard field on the item card (12M).

Does anyone use manufacture date on the COA instead? If so, which date - from the finished prod. order?

Thanks.

I have the same question (0)

    Amy,

Can you please tell us where you are printing this as Certificate of Analysis could come from a Quality Management addon or a custom report created by the Partner for you. Please explain steps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

As a manufacturer, we're required to provide information about our products. We have a custom Certificate of Analysis (COA) that includes the item number, lot number and expiration date.

A customer is asking for manufacture date, rather than expiration date, on the COA.

My question was more about industry standard, not necessarily "how to" in NAV.

What do information do other manufacturers provide?

    Hello,

What version of NAV are you using? Also, when you open the Certificate of Analysis Report to run, please press CTRL-ALT-F1 and take a screen shot and send back. This sounds like a custom report your Partner created and might need updating to accommodate this request.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Hello,

I also see you are asking what information manufacturers provide... They will provide Country of Origin, their Certificate and Exp Date.

Thanks, Steve. That's what I was trying to figure out.
