Can anyone help me in creating Accountant role read only.

If you want to keep the Accountant role as it is, the "Read-only accountant" must be a new role. There you'll assign privileges granting only read access to resources.

May I know the steps to create read only Accountant role.
I followed https://kaya-consulting.com/ax2012-create-a-read-only-security-role-walkthrough/. In this step-9 duties related to Accountant we need to select.
Is there any way thru which we can create duplicate of Accountant role and then make/select read-only (*Inquire,*Review”).
Yes you can duplicate that role from AOT and change access one by one. You can also use security development tool for testing.

If you are able to point the exact areas where you want to give access I would suggest that you make a custom role where you can add the duties/privileges needed (search for anything with inquire or view in its name). In general it is easier to give access than to restrict it, as far as I know.

Many thing has been changed in security configuration and I think we have to find another way for creating roles and privileges.
