Power Automate - run PA cloud flow from the the button on a Page in BC (SaaS)

Posted on by 431

Hi All,

I have a case where I would need to execute a cloud flow from Power automate by the click on a button of page in BC (SaaS).

Is this possible?

I am actually looking for a trigger to execute cloud flow from Power Automate as record is inserted in a table, then some data have to come from the email message to specific fields in custom table.

Thanks for the ideas, Damjan

    Hi,

thanks for the idea, I am using the second option with the procedure SendHTTPRequest.

Everything works as expected, but there is just one little thing. I cannot know when the cloud flow in PA finishes, so there can be a point that data are not received since the cloud flow has not started/finished, yet.

How can I check what values are returned from the cloud flow? I tried to use HttpResponseMessage, but it is blank.
    Tnx Damjan

    Hi,

As Josh commented, new feature of 2022 release wave1 meet your requirement.

I tried the new trigger action, and posted my blog.

Right now I think two options exist. One is now generally available and forms part of the enhancement made to PA being used with BC:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../action-group-run-chosen-instant-power-automate

Or you can do something like this: joshanglesea.wordpress.com/.../
