How do I set my "search description" as my default filter column for item input?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to solve this problem for new coworkers. We use Nav 2015, my profile is set so that when I input items I can just use my search descriptions. Other users are still having to input the actual item numbers. At one point i was shown how to change the default input, but I can no longer remember. 

I was assuming it was similar to how you change the default filter column for customer input. I just can't remember. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!customer-input.jpg

    In the drop down first click on the column you want to default then in that screen down on the right hand side you  you click the "set at as default filter" option.

    that option does not appear on the drop down when i open the item list. I thought that it should, but it isn't there. The second attachment is a picture of the drop down when I click on the item input tab.

    Suresh, your suggestion is how I would set the default customer input. It does not work the same for the default item input. I don't understand why it isn't the same.

    It's a good question. I also have such problems when I do my researches for the university. I use some writing resources to get some help with business plans and other similar questions. I like that https://ca.edubirdie.com/business-plan-writing-service guarantees an excellent result. Also, there is a lot of services for students, so I think it's a very useful resource. So, I'd like to have an answer to this question to ease my education.
