Quote 'Date Won' field not available !!

Hi,

In Dynamics 365, where can I find the Date Won field of a Quote that appears when we Create Order (close the quote as Won). I can see it on the window when I Create Order. But in the backend, I'm not able to locate the field. I want this field for reporting and to be shown in the view.

Please help!

In the Quote entity you can only use the modifiedon date to get the information, but that might be changed via alternated process, and not necessarily the date one.

In the Quote Close (quoteclose) - activity entity you can get the Actual End date field, which will basically display the date where the Quote was closed (either won or lost).

Hi Aric,

Thanks for answering. As you said we cannot consider modified on date of the quote as that can get changed even after won.

Quote Close entity - Actual end date should work. But I am unable to find it as related entity for quote in advanced find to add this column for reporting. Any thoughts on this ?

Quote Close entity is an activity entity.

You would need to create your Advanced Find Query on the Activity Entity, and set a relationship to Quote (Regardging), if you need to display data from the Quote entity as well.

I just want to check one more thing with you. Is there a possibility to use\add this field as column under any of the 'Quotes' view.

Hi Suresh,

Not really.

You can modify your search so that it displays items based on a criteria on the Quote Closure entity, but you cannot display the columns from the Quote Close entity since they are not available as a relationship in the Add Columns window.
