Hi everyone,
We have a client who is currently running on BC SaaS using MT localisation and they would like to have the functionality of the SE localisation available as well since they have recently on boarded a Swedish legal entity.
I know that recently Microsoft has made the SE localisation as extensions and no longer embedded in the Base application - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/localfunctionality/sweden/sweden-local-functionality#localization-architecture
When I searched for the SE extensions in App Source, I could only find one which of course failed to install since it can only be installed on an environment that has SE localisation (Country/Region).
Anyone knows of any other solution of how this can be achieved? (apart from having another environment with SE localisation)

As far as I know there is no way, I have discussed this with the head of localization at Microsoft.
They think that the local package can only be installed in the region, just like what you investigated, if it can be installed in other region, then it is not a local package, but similar to a general package. So as of now, all local packages including partner ones can only be installed in a specific area.
