How to prevent someone to be able to create New PO ?

Hi guys,

In regards of security role / duty / privileges, how to set someone to NOT be able to create new PO ? I have set the Duty to be PurchTableDetailView, but when I check, I still can see the New button enable.

If you have permissions to change security roles, you're likely a system administrator and therefore you have full permissions.

If you mean that a different user still has Create permissions for PurchTable, it must mean that (s)he still has such a privilege somewhere. It's not clear to me where you "set the duty", nevertheless it doesn't sound like "I looked at duties and permissions of all roles assigned to the user and removed those that grant create permissions on PurchTable".

Have you tried just removing the 'Maintain Purchase orders' duty from the users' roles?
