Plugin code not updating after overriding solution

Hi,

From last few weeks we have faced a strange issue i.e. We have a managed solution which contains a plugin assembly when we are overriding the solution after changing the plugin assembly code the plugin assembly is  not updating.

We tried by increasing the version of the managed solution as well and also import the solution from CRM classic UI as well as make.powerapps.com.

After we increased the plugin assembly version finally the code got updated but we didn't need to update the version number before.

Please let us know if anybody faced a similar issue or have any solution for this

    I don't know what is the root cause of your problem, but incrementing the revision number of a plugin when there are some updates (like 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.0.1 to 1.0.0.2 etc etc)

    is a common practice and you can easily check with Plugin Registration Tool the exact version that has been deployed after a solution has been installed.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Before few months it was working fine for all the environment and then suddendly it now not working for  some enviroment but for some environment the assmebly is updating without changing the version number.
