Changing position of statusses on a Case

HI,

A Case can have several statussen and we are able to create a new status.

Then in a dropdown menu we can easily select a status.

I want to change the order of the items in this dropdown menu.

I has something to do with the value of the status.

In CRM i can`t change this value so i am not able to set the correct order of items in the dropdown menu.

I included some sceenshots to clearify what i mean.

I hope somebody can help me with this :)

Okay, let us discuss your requirements...

You want to sort your case status reasons, right?

    1. Therefore you must go to the SETTINGS - CUSTOMIZATIONS - CUSTOMIZE YOUR SYSTEM.

    2. Open the entities

    3. Choose CASE

    4. Click on FIELDS

    5. Search for STATUSREASON

    6. Change the order

Be aware: This will work only for one language... with different languages, you get a problem.

I have done these steps, but the order that i configured at the customize, isnt the order that is showing on the cases.

    Have you published your customizations?

Have you done it in the correct system?

Yes, i have, also when i add new statusses, they are visible to i assume im working in the correct system :)

I just know it has to do with the value a status can have, since a certain update it is not possible to edit the value that is assigned to a status.

I can see that the order is exactly following the values from high to low... So i someone could just tell me how to edit those values i think we can solve this case.

Or if this is a bug in CRM online , let me know what i need to do to fix it.

    Hi Peter,

This looks like a bug (still present in 2016 Update 1) I would raise a ticket with MS to have this resolved

    I can confirm this behavior.

    MS CRM 2016 SP1 on-prm.
