Warehouse locations and Inventory Management Inventory Locations

We are trying to set up our first Advanced Warehouse in D365 Test.  I am getting confused between the two spots which seem to be separate but hold the same information.  Traditionally, we set up the locations under the Warehouse.   So we've continued that but enabled the Use Warehouse Management processes to be able to use the AWS functionality.  When setting up the Warehouse Items record, we were able to set up the Issue and receipt locations like normal.  However, the picking location is pointing us to a different form call Inventory Locations (versus the Locations form in the Warehouse screens).  Do we need to duplicate the location set up between the two forms?  Can we just ignore the Inventory Locations forms and drive on?

Thank you in advance for any advice.

RE: Warehouse locations and Inventory Management Inventory Locations

    Hi Michael,

When you enable "Use Warehouse Management Processes", you have a new logic for managing locations. This means you will need to manage new location attributes, such as location profiles and possibly location limites. Therefore, I strongly recommend you to create your new locations.

Tips: you can you a new wizard to generate you locations in bulk.
