Dynamics CRM 2015 Outlook Plugin

Hi,

We are rolling out Outlook Plugin for MS Dynamics on-premise CRM 2015. The client uses VDI to access their desktops. There are around 700 employees in the client organization. Not all of them are CRM users. the client has 170 CRM licenses. But the Plugin will be installed for all the 700 employees on the central VDI image, although it will be configured only for the 170 CRM users. For the remaining 530 users for whom the plug-in will be installed but not configured, is there any licensing issue?

There won't be because it won't actually be connected to their Outlook. So the tool will be on their computer but as long as you don't go through the process of adding a CRM instance to the plugin it will not affect security. Each use will either have to check use credentials on the computer or login with their credentials which will then connect it to the license.
