Creating a Workflow activated as a Process created another Child Process

We were troubleshooting an issue with a Workflow that was assigned to a former employee, and what we found was that when the workflow is created, saved, and activated, it creates another duplicate of the same, but it cannot be deleted / deactivated and is a child of what I created.

In the attached image, I created the workflow in Green (actually, I recreated it based on a previous workflow we were trying to troubleshoot), and when I activate it, it created another record as well listed as a MerchAppWF_5F00_Process.png

Any help if greatly appreciated!

Brandon

    Hi BBaker32,

Could you provide the setting of your workflow?

    Here's the Workflow...

If I deactivate this one, it will also deactivate the other that is created. However, I cannot deactivate the other - it give an error. Nor can I delete the other.

    Hi,

You should not directly delete the duplicate workflow as it is created by the System.

You should always deactivate/delete the workflow from Advance settings- process - All workflow

Also, you can add your workflow in solution and then deactivate/delete

BTW what is it that you are facing an issue with workflow ?
