Rework batch order

Hi all,

I'm a newbie. I finding how to create rework batch order in AX 2012. I create a rework batch order by select check box "rework batch". However, after estimate this batch order, scheduling button is invisible, that mean I cannot release, start .. and doing anything with this batch order.

Who can send me a link or anything that help me to resolve this case?

    You need to estimate the batch order before reserving the line on the formula. This is because no inventory transaction is generated for the formula until you estimate the order.

    Hi Smithy2k7,

    On formula, I click Inventory > Reservation but the "Reservation" field is disabled. Is there any other setup for this?

    Hi, you need to manually reserve the inventory which you wish to use in the rework batch order. To manually reserve the inventory, head to the Production Order tab ---> Production Details ---> Formula. From here you can reserve the batch and continue with processing the batch order. You need to reserve inventory before you estimate.
