How do we make D365 Commerce Scale Unit (self hosted) can be made redundant to avoid single point of failure for the retail server. How do we achieve the high availability?

I wanted to achieve multiple D365 Commerce Scale Unit (self hosted) server pointing to D365 FO (HQ) on cloud. In the event of failure of HW/SW for 1 retail server , the other retail server should continue to operate. What are the possibilities?

Hi Ramakrishnan,

This is not possible.

The design of local CSU and data replication doesn’t allow for this.

The solution would be to implement Offline Mode on the POS.
