Alerts in D365 FO

Our client has been using OOB alert functionality for a while in D365 FO. It doesn't work recently. I have verified creating the simplest alert in cust table for a record creation even that doesn't work.

Steps taken:

Created an alert from the base form(ListPage)

Run the change based alert batch job(It executed and ended successfully)

There are no emails received.

Can someone please show some light on what else would be missing and to be checked.

    Hi Ramyaax,

When it worked before, are you aware if there was any change or update installed when it stopped working?

Thank you so much Kaushik for your response. We are also receiving the alert in DEV machines. But alerts are not working in FT and Prod machines alone. Would there be any specific reason for that. I have seen the EVENTCUD table with bunch of records in it. Please suggest if there would be any specific reason.

    Hello ,

I would suggest reviewing the alert and make sure there is no end date specified.

I set up the Recurrence of the change-based alerts to 1 min, and successfully received the alerts in the action center.

If you are not receiving the emails but are successfully able to view the alerts in the action center. I would suggest reviewing the Email History

System Administration >> Setup >> Email >> Email History

    Thanks, Kaushik

I guess you don't get any message in the Action center either?  Or is it just email that's not working?
