Filter error on views

Hi All. When attempting to apply a filter to a view in a Lead/Opportunity i am prompted with the following;

In a Lead: 'Lead' entity doesn't contain attribute with Name = 'undefinedname' and NameMapping = 'Logical'. MetadataCacheDetails: ProviderType=Dynamic, StandardCache=True, IsLoadedInStagedContext = False, Timestamp=3819709405, MinActiveRowVersion=3819709405, MetadataInstanceId=43387745

In an Opportunity: No Data Available

No system changes have been made and the search filter applied exists in the corresponding column.

Has anyone else experienced the same or similar.

Hi, looking to apply 'SYSTEM' as the filter criteria under the Owner column (Owner 'equals' 'System'). There are a number of records which are owned by 'SYSTEM' and this shows when no filters have been applied. having said that, regardless of the filer i put here it will not give the results but instead the error as shown above for a lead.

Ok I'm confused, SYSTEM can't own any records except systm jobs for example, what type of records are you displaying?

Hi Paul,
these are all open leads which have been generated by the System and so the owner is automatically set to 'System'. Regardless of the owner name i put in the filter, there are no results. for example, Joe Bloggs is the owner of 10 open leads within the view, in order to filter to just joe bloggs, i set the filter of that view to 'Owner equals joe bloggs' - this is when i am prompted with: 'Lead' entity doesn't contain attribute with Name = 'undefinedname' and NameMapping = 'Logical'. MetadataCacheDetails: ProviderType=Dynamic, StandardCache=True, IsLoadedInStagedContext = False, Timestamp=3819709405, MinActiveRowVersion=3819709405, MetadataInstanceId=31031241

Prior to Monday 20th all was working well and no changes have been made in the customisations of Dynamics which is why i a little confused.

Hi,

If you create a new view (with or without same columns) and apply any of your filters does the problem occur?

If no, you can try to remove almost all columns for that view, save it then add those columns back, as well to add your filter.

Anyway, if you still have that error you should open a service request for this to be further investigated.

it is possible that some field from that view is deleted and hence when you are trying to save new filter to the view you are getting this error ...

this is my guess so please try to run this view in the advanced find ..if you get error mentioned in the article below then may be this is the issue..

Hi. I have tried to recreate the view with the same columns but am still being prompted with the error when trying to apply a filter. I will raise a ticket.
