Hello to all,
I have a question, I sould have item stock points to embed demand forecasts in the calculation of Requisition Worksheets?
I ask because I launch the processing of Requisition Worksheets, only one item configured with points of Stock goes up while in my request forecast I have two items.
Thank you for your feedback.
Sincerely
If you use Locations, you should use SKUs.
Now that we are using SKUs, we need to check that a Reordering Policy is established for the Item's SKU. If the Reordering Policy is blank (empty), then the Requisition Worksheet will ignore the Item. Even if you have the Item listed in a Demand Forecast, it will still be ignored if a policy is not established.
I would also encourage you to use the Planning Worksheet over the Requisition Worksheet, as it has a more sophisticated calculation engine and no limitations on what it can create. You may not notice a difference, but when trying to future proof your system its better to use the best tools available to you.
Does the Point Of Stock field exist in the SKU card?
That would explain the behaviour: you would need to set a value for Point of Stock in each SKU for the item: SKU field value will override the Item card value in the Requisition Worksheet calculation.
If you did set it on the Item card, but failed to do so on the underlying SKU, the Requisition worksheet will calculate with the value on the SKU.
Hello HVGEEL,
Yes I use locations, but I don't use SKU, I think it's a mandatory entry.
I am missing some context here:
Are you using Locations? In that context, have you set up an SKU for each Location?
What about time horizon? The Requisition Worksheet will require to set dates in order for the calculation to be able to execute.
