Microsoft has been no help with this but I am optimistic you guys will be. I receive the following error message when adding a disabled user through the Sales Team section on the Opportunity form. The irony is that the error message in the title pops up but the action succeeds for creating a connection between the disabled user, the connection role and the opportunity. I have been told through our partner support team that it is a bug with the error message popping up and that disabled users should be able to be added that way. Level 1 Microsoft support is telling me to tie a license to those disabled users accounts which solves the problem, but it is not a cost efficient solution since we want to track employee involvement against sales for 200 employees but only 100 employees actively log on. I am confident it is a bug on Microsoft's end with this behavior, since an error message pops up and the action succeeds, but i dont know if the bug is related to the error message popping up or the action succeeding shouldn't happen.
