Below is the scenario, I want to achieve.
RECEIVING - When orders are received, you want them license plated by pallet once they are received.
RECEIVING to BULK - Those goods are then put away in bulk locations, still being tracked by different license plate. That is Items are moving from one LP (RECV location) to another LP (Bulk location).
BULK to PICKING - When your picking locations are replenished from bulk, you will take a parts of pallet of inventory (a license plate) and place it at a picking location as required. That is items will move from one LP (BULK location) to another LP (PICKING location)
How can we achieve this considering pallet ids are deprecated and replaced by license plates. Also I understand the native functionality of LP is moving but in the above scenario LP is constant instead items on LP are moving.
I did read some features called
Outbound sorting but not sure if this can be used here. Any light on this grey area will be helpful.
