Help Newbie

 Hello,

I just purchased two of these POS systems from a buy who was going out of business. I am fairly knowledgeable with computers so did not think I would have a problem.

Well I loaded up the first one and can see that he already had a company setup so I just installed the restore disc and wiped the hard drive and figured I would just start from scratch with a new install,,,,well that was a great idea until the install disc wouldn't work. It kept saying it couldn't find a specific file (even though I could find it).

So I moved to the other POS and am attempting to just create another database. Well that is where I am stuck. I am not sure (at all) how to setup a new database. I read the user manual and it explains how to do it but when I click on the admin icon none of the menu options show up except File-Connect and File-Configure

neither one of those allow me to setup a new database. According to the user manuel I should be able to use a wizard to set it up or open up the sample database. It won't let me do either of these, please help.
