Hi,

I need to create a fiscal calendar as a register for weekly forecast calendar. This new calendar will only be used for the sake of joining it with a GL data entity which is used in Data Management Export. The date from and date to will be used to populate a week dimension in our data entity.

Would the creation of this new calendar have any negative impact on the system as long as it is not attached to any ledger.

Hello Hossam,

You can create as many calendars as you like.

As long as you don't link them in the ledger form in GL there is no effect on the way how the system records transactions.

Thanks Ludwig. Is there a way I can export the calendar from UAT and Import it to Production. I am thinking to use the Excel data connector.

Just wanted to know the best practice to achieve this.
