Hello,

Was anyone succesfull to upgrade the Fabrikam Company in GP2010R2 with the latest Tax Update service pack (Round 2) for the Canadian Payroll ? All my prod companies were upgraded succesfully (even my Test companies), but the TWO company (Fabrikam) fails with an SQL error in the GP Utilities :

First Error Message

Second Error message

We didn't had any issue before Christmas when updating the companies with the initial YE tax-update 2012 (KB2769064), so this is very suprising.

We don't use Fabrikam very often, other then running some validation for modules we don't own or have installed, but I know for sure that the manufacturing has been there for years (as the error suggests it could be an MRP/MFG issue). Not that I really bother about the TWO database, but this could be a symptomatic issue for other upgrades later on... I've captured the whole error message from the first pop-up, but it's very long to post here. Basically it seem to try creating a stored proc for MRP, but somehow fails to validate the installation of the MFG module in the TWO company...

Any suggestions ?

    Hi Bron,

Thanks for your suggestion (that was likely what I was going to do anyway...).. However, I'll report the issue to our Partner and have Microsoft investigate the case...

I've had similar issues before - I typically delete the TWO database - run the 'clear dynamics' script - and re-install that way I know I have a properly updated and working version of TWO for the next upgrade.

Your absolutely correct that if you do nothing - you might have problems during next upgrade.
