Field formats in Microsoft GP

ReportReport

I am trying to format fields in a report to print with only 2 decimal places. Currently we have our global GP setting to reflect 4 decimal places and cannot change that for customer reasons. How can I format the reports to show only 2 decimal places - can I do this for ALL reports or does each report I have need to be adjusted individually. Please be a specific as possible.

Thank you for your responses in advance.

If you are using the GP Report Writer, you need to set the format for each report.  You select a field, open properties, and select the format desired.  There is a two decimal format already defined.

I thought I had performed the above functions and received no change to the report. Could you please be more specific in your answer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Which format is the two decimal format as it looks like there are many.

Also when I select a field  - how do I open properties? I only see report field options. Am I in the right place or is there some where else I should be looking.

    thank you

you are in the correct place.

Did you give permission in Alternate/Modified Reports/Windows (under Administrator) to the modified version of the report?

Another option, this article show how to round a calculated field in report writer.  You can set number of decimal places at point 11.
