I have a field in header when I add data into the field It should show it in the same field in line also.This should be based on the update order line where should I write the code for this

    Hi code beginner,

    I wanted to verify a similar customization done in the past. That was based on an older version of Dynamics AX. So there might be changes between that version and AX 2012. You can read the next blog for understanding this part:

    Yeah I have added a field on the header and line also I have added the field in param form also but I dont know how to link it with header.

    Did you add new fields on the header and lines or are you just interested how it has been achieved in the standard?

    I have a field in the purchase order header view and same field in line view If add value  in header view It should come in the line view if that field is "always" in the parameter form

    Path: Procurement and sourcing parameters -> update -> Update order lines

    Can you give us more information, please? It's not clear what you're doing and what problem you have with it.

    If you want to duplicate from a header to all lines and keep it in sync all the time, what's point of doing it?
