debug customized workflow

Posted on by 2,397

Hi, I am wondering if it is necessary to register customized workflow in DISK instead of database to do the debug?

Now I am trying to register the workflows in disk in the server, but I got this error "unable to load assembly"

You can debug a custom workflow activity that is registered in the database, but you still need to place the .pdb in the server\bin\assembly folder (or you can place it somewhere else if you change the symbol path in Visual Studio).

Also make sure you attach to the correct process. This depends on whether the workflow is synchronous or asynchronous
