I keep getting this message when I'm trying to export to excel. It doesn't matter if I'm trying to export a static or dynamic worksheet I keep getting this. Sometimes I'm able to export, but recently I haven't been able to for about 2 weeks now.

Is this happening for all exports or only some? All entities? All views?

Have you tested on different browsers?

I have seen this error caused by the columns in the view. If there is an invalid column, then it will not allow you to export. In my experience this has been due to two columns with the same name. Can you try exporting a smaller subset of columns?

    Hi Maximillian,

    please check:

    1) you havent selected many columns (eg. all salesorderdetail columns for 30.000 records)

    2) you havent included in columns two fields with the same label

    Please let me know.

Another cause of the problem might be that the SQL cannot load the data on its RAM due to the Size of the results.

This is mostly seen on an On-Premises CRM installations and the solution to this problem is to export the data using XRM-toolbox.

This happens when you have two identical column headings that are the same. Typically, you get two column headings of SUBJECT when you list Service Activities.
