Does RMS have the capability for a cashier to submit a good idea and have it go directly to a manager. Or has anyone implemented this type of functionality

Hi EHO.
Try standard RMS functionality at POS: Shift + F2. You can create and send, read small & simple text messages between Cashiers...
When a cashier log-in into the POS session, he will get an small icon blinking message (top right) and through same Shift+F2 can open the message, reply, etc., etc.,...
Obviously, You can do much more by developing an add-on, but try the standard funcionality. It's simple, but very useful...

created an inter store messaging solution ;)
Will the message table synch back to headquarter or is it in single store only.
Retail Realm's SO/HQ Utilities offer the inter-store option.
