Case and location: search up on postal/zip/adress

Hi there,

Upon a case creation, we come across the difficult of getting the specific location. Some customers are not aware of their customer number for example.

It would be an improvement if we could search on postal/zip code or the adress in the 'Location' field.

How would I reach that result?

Hi, you mean the Functional Location?

If you want to enable searching on a different column, you can:

Navigate to https://make.powerapps.com

Open your solution

Add or search for the "Functional Location" table

Click to see the "Views"

Click on "Find by ..."

Select he columns you want, like in this case the "Postal Code"

Save and publish

After that, you should be able to search the Functional Location by the Postal Code
