I'd like to ask if AX supports configuration of size variants. I mean different sizes such as Large, Medium and Small should have different physical dimensions right? In our requirement, we need to set this up so that we can proceed with containerization process. Containerization process heavily relies on the "Volume" of the product, therefore physical dimension for each variant is definitely needed. Also, can even the automatic containerization process select product variants?
At the moment, we don't have any way of making this possible except from doing customizations in the code (mainly by adding variants field on physical dimensions form and adjusting the logic of containerization). I'm a bit worried on doing so because there may be many other processes that rely on these.
My AX version is: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations Update3 (7.0.4307.16141)
